Invisalign® Can Brighten Your Smile and Change Your Dental Health!
Having aligned teeth is about more than aesthetics. Teeth that are properly spaced and aligned lead to improved gum health and are easier to keep clean. Oral hygiene is a breeze throughout Invisalign® treatment because the aligners are removable. There are no appliances to get in the way when brushing and flossing. Invisalign® treatment also has no dietary restrictions, since aligners are removed before meals. Eat all the foods you like without fear of damaging your orthodontic appliances.
First, your Invisalign Doctor can take a fast and precise 3D digital scan of your teeth (with a iTero Element® scanner) and map out a custom treatment plan just for you.
Next, you pick up your first custom aligners while your doctor will examine your smile, ensuring our high standards are met.
You start wearing your aligners and with regular doctor check-ins, you’ll likely schedule face-to-face check-ups every 6-8 weeks to check your progress and pick up the next batch of aligners.
The Invisalign® Process
The Invisalign® process begins with a consultation to confirm that you are a good candidate for treatment. We will take X-rays, photographs and impressions of your teeth, which Invisalign® uses to create a 3-D image of them.
Dr. Magi Youssef uses these 3-D images to create a treatment plan, and she can show you the entire treatment process on a computer screen before it even happens.
In this video, Invisalign® patient Jennie Wilkins shares the success of her Invisalign® treatment as well as the added benefits of healthier teeth from the treatment.
Dr. Youssef is now considered a “Gold” level provider! This designation makes her the only general dentist at this level in our region and one of the top Invisalign® providers in the nation!
“Invisalign® gives my patients their confidence back and the smile of their dreams,” she says. “With Invisalign®, I have the ability to provide immediate feedback and quick gratifying results for my patients.”
Magi has recently joined the American Academy of Clear Aligners, an elite group of dentists who provide clear aligner services to their patient population and are committed to continuous learning and advancement in the field of clear aligners.
